Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in API development and Golang to join our team. The role involves developing services and applications to support a developer portal for internal and external use. The ideal candidate should excel in writing clean, professional code and collaborating in an agile team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support scalable, high-performance APIs.
• Collaborate on API design and architecture.
• Write automated unit and functional tests.
• Design reusable code structures.
• Support DevOps pipelines and automate processes to enhance efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior developers.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with Golang.
• 2+ years of experience developing distributed cloud applications. (Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Openshift, Docker)
• Proficiency in developing and troubleshooting RESTful APIs.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with security protocols such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, and SSL Certificates.
• Solid understanding of source code management and code release processes.
• Experience supporting production-level software.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical details clearly.
